It is a four year program designed for high achieving students. The highlights of this program are flexibility and enrichment.
Flexibility: HC members get to replace IAH, ISS, ISB/ISP classes with a broader variety of courses such as a Psychology or a Film Studies courses. This opportunity allows students to take classes that are closer to their interests and thereby creating a personalized program of study.
Enrichment: HC members have an opportunity to study their subject topics in a more in-depth manner by taking honors classes, honors options and graduate classes. By going above and beyond with their coursework, students report being more prepared for graduate school and/or workplace. HC students are even eligible to take certain med school and law school classes.

Enrollment priority: HC students are one of the first groups to enroll in classes.
Prerequisites: HC students are not held to prerequisites or course restrictions. However, they are advised to consult with their advisor before skipping prerequisites.
Research Opportunities:HC students have additional resources to pursue research through classes(UGS 200H), publication(students have a chance to publish their research in a HC journal) and scholarships(to present research at a conference). In addition, small class sizes(honors classes) and research-related honors projects (honors options) can help them in acquiring research experiences.
Study Abroad: HC students have the opportunity to do research while studying abroad through the Euroscholars program. In addition, they can apply for HC study abroad scholarships.
